Dedicated team of accountants and engineers in Laval

Founded in 2003, Cognifistech’s team combines 7 bilingual professionals specialized in Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) tax credits. Our team is composed of 5 engineers and 2 tax accountants; they are competent, flexible, and efficient.

The company follows the same structure as the Canada Revenue Agency: the fiscalists take good care of the financial aspects and work in synergy with the engineers who, in turn, identify projects and tackle the technical matters.

Mr.Gagnon studied and practiced in various technical and administrative fields: business administration (university), electronics, electricity, automation, control and computer science. His experience was further diversified by leading projects and workshops in Value-Added Production, Kaizen, 5S, Visual Management, Poka Yoke, Innovation, Product Development and Total Quality Management.

Mr.Gagnon is quite aware of the realities and challenges facing Québec's SMEs. He worked for pulp&paper, services and manufacturing companies. A natural, curious and self-learning entrepreneur, he founded his first company at age 16 during his studies. He is a good communicator who never hesitates to share his 22-year business experience. His creativity, open-mind, observation skills and SR&ED claiming experience are assets while discussing R&D with him, as well as his fondness for respect and client satisfaction.
